Wonderfully transformed into a hotel in 1965, Ballyseede Castle offers 23 ensuite bedrooms. Three function rooms and beautiful reception rooms and an enchanting formal garden.

Area information: Ballyseede Castle is located near Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. County Kerry, traditionally known as the 'Kingdom', is situated in the south-west of Ireland. You can tour the scenic Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, take walks along the picturesque banks of Killarney lakes and the hike around the Macgillycuddy Reeks. There are various golf courses in and around Tralee, including the Links Tralee Golf Club which has the first course in Europe to be designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer.
Food and beverages: In recent years Ballyseede Castle has gained the reputation for fine dining. Whether it is a five course dinner or sitting but the fire in the Library Bar dining is a must. The most delicate food is locally sourced and presented with all the flair expected from a Castle experience. The restaurant has 2 RAC awards for dining and the chefs aim to cater for all tastes and fancies. Home grown, traditional Irish and continental cuisine are all served. You will find a wine from the large cellar to compliment any meal. Breakfast is served from 08:00 till 10:00. The restaurant is open from 19:00 till 21:00 and the bar until late.
Important information: There are 2 rooms suitable for conferences and meetings that accommodate up to 80 and 150 people respectively. The castle also provides an ideal setting for a wedding reception. The dining room overlooks the ancient oaks of the front lawn. In the library bar there is a great carved oak chimney piece that dates from 1627. There is a splendid banqueting hall where feasts and entertainment can be enjoyed in style.
Cancellation policies: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
