Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in Dingle

The Dingle Peninsula stretches from Blennerville just west of Tralee for about 40 miles until it reaches its most westerly point ont the Atlantic Ocean. At Camp 10 miles west of Tralee the road divides.
If you take the northerly route you will pass near Castlegregory, Stradbally Cloghane an Brandon an before you reach Dingle you must go over the Conor Pass taking in stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
If you take the southerly route you will pass through the villages of Camp, Annascaul and Lispole before arriving at Dingle.
The whole peninsula is mountainous and contains the Dingle Way which is a a walking trail very popular with hillwalkers and Mount Brandon the highest peak on the peninsula.
Along Both routes there ar some nice beaches notably at Derrymore and Inch on the southerly route and at Castlegregory and Maharees (good for wind surfing) on the nirtherly route.
Other activities include fishing (sea fishing and fresh water angling) horse riding (there are a number of places where you can hire horses and guides), surfing, windsurfing and water sports, golf (there are two good courses - one at Castlegregory and one at Ceann Sibéal. west of Dingle).
THere are also some excellent restaurants throughout the whole peninsula and Dingle town is noted for its fresh seafood.
Dingle is also a centre of trditional music and culture with many lively popular pubs.
Dingle harbour is home to the famous dolphin Fungi and the area west of Dingle town has some fantastic scenery and nice beaches and is perhaps best known worldwide as the location for the making of the film Ryan's Daughter.
The Dingle Peninsula is dotted with good quality Bed and Breakfasts and quite a few good hotels.
